Not just Parrots !!
I love capturing the vivid colors of a parrot.I believe that these birds with wonderful colors were not random manifestations of their kind but rather the outcome of an interest for creation , evolving from the heart of the creator itself. The intrigue pattern of colors on their feathers makes me curious about the evolution of this beauty.

Low Light Photography - Gardens by the Bay
Gardens by the Bay
Yes it is a Sunday !! it was hot and sunny outside and what was done half the day ? ..Well nothing .I was wondering what was this Sunday supposed to be for me .Like a spark , I decided to grab some pictures of the new gardens near Marina Bay .In an hour I was all set to go .Oops I noticed my camera battery is low on charge but I was already down at the basement after a quick passing through eight floors of my residence.I was wondering if I charge my camera and make a start again it would cost at least another 45 minutes .This period of waiting makes me feel more than the 45 minutes ..well Einstein has a better theory for it :) .After two connecting trains I was finally below the huge structure of a building "Marina Bay Sands".This building is know for the casino and the Sky Park.I think this building is a blend of a commercial and artistic creations .Adding to its princely charm is the beauty of the new gardens by the bay .My expectations for a good lighting were not yet reached as I looked at the evening sky. I was very hungry since I had no lunch in the afternoon.I had a classic chicken burger and a soft drink.Eventually, I was enjoying the meal and forgot the reason why I arrived at the bay.I came out of the food court and was surprised by the amazing beauty of the gardens in low light .I quickly grabbed my camera and pulled it out of the bag .. here goes my hunt for snaps BINGO !!
The below picture is an interesting angle infusing the technical aspects of the Marina Bay Sands with the stunning glow of the Garden Structures .

Mighty Birds
The Bird park at Jurong is well known for the wide range of species and the spectacular shows.I never believed it until I visited the place .I was expecting some decent shots of few birds behind the cages .The first flight of the birds upon the whistle of the bird keeper , enthralled me .In a moment , I was worried if I would miss the wonderful shot of the bird or if I would miss the beauty of the flight in case if I was busy looking through the lens. The bird show at the place is like a feast for the photographers hungry for great snaps.

Portrait of Eurasian Eagle Owl
The Eagle Owl by itself has no natural predators and enjoys life in peace :) .No one attacks on me !! , wow !! such a thought is a king like feeling for the bird .The bird uses its bill to tear the swallowed prey into pieces .It also attacks on other moderate birds during its flight .It could be found in caves like a sage undertaking heavy penance and meditation :) .I was able to capture the Owl using below settings (Above picture)

Portrait of Bateleur Snake Eagle
Snakes are known for their swift moves and the venom they use primarily to kill and subdue prey. Not all snakes are venomous but they have the power of constriction to kill the prey which is even more painful. The feeling of a snake passing around arouses fear within its prey , including humans.
Well that is not the end of the story , the Bateleur Snake Eagle is a nightmare for these snakes. It flies over 300-400 km every day. While it flies it sometimes does a 360 degree flip .This colorful raptor is very professional while dealing with poisonous snakes. The Snake eagle is known for its bravery on attacking venomous snakes very often .It could fly at a speed ranging maximum upto 80km/h.This bird was also found preying on lion cubs .I was cheering this hero along with the crowd while it was posing for the snap .The sharp eyes and the looks of this bird reminds me of a WWE wrestler threatening his opponent on the ring .

Food Republic
Sighted several times during a visit to Singapore is the food republic chain of restuarants. The people of Singapore simply love the nostalgic kampong atmosphere of this place. At my first glance i felt it even lot better than the local restaurants .I love the variety of toasts served here. The Banana cake is my all time favorite. The open dining concept and the mini restaurants are the main reasons for people visiting it quite often. The furniture and the wood based platform gives a woody feel unlike a usual restaurant with plastic chairs .

LEGO toys
Passing by the shops on the first floor at compass point , i found the crowd engaged in lots of fun activites in the mall..In a minute i found that all these celebrations are to cheer the people for the 47th bithday of Singapore .
Feeling the beat of the loud music and thumping within , i noticed the crowd was very much engaged in fixing tiny cubes on a large pane of plastic blocks.Yes, i guessed it right they are toys .LEGO a popular toy manufacturing company is also sponsoring the show along with a number of other popular brands .These toys are a happy purchase for the kids especially boys who play with toys until they are shattered to pieces :) .The final product of these toys are the assembled outcome of a series of plastic bits .Very constructive and for me the idea of dismantling it was a joy during my childhood :) .
I was able to capture these miniature toys using the below settings
